Call for volunteers for the RA Month ’24!

Do you want to be part of the largest architecture festival in the Netherlands about the future of the city? Register via the application form and join our team during the Rotterdam Architecture Month from June 1st to 30th.
This summer, we’ll be landing in the Museumpark. Visitors of all ages can follow a route through the greenery, past special installations about the past, present, and future of the park.
Theme: Garden of the City
It is no coincidence that the Rotterdam Architecture Month (RA Month) has chosen Museumpark as its center. This year marks exactly 100 years since the Land of Hoboken, of which the park is part, became accessible as a public space for everyone.
Over the past century, the area has developed from a private estate to a cultural hotspot in the city and is a succession of different gardens from various periods, each with its character. New gardens have recently been added: the New Institute’s New Garden, a roof garden on the Depot, and Erasmus MC. It shows the development of diverse views on the significance of greenery, culture, and recreation for the city.
During RA Month, the various institutions, places, and stories in Museumpark are connected by a route that zigzags through the area. This activates Museumpark as the collective garden for and of the city.
What do we ask?
We could use your help from June 1st to 30th. As a volunteer, you will assist with programming in and around the festival hub, help at the information desk, scan tickets, welcome speakers, and guide the audience.
We offer you

- An inspiring environment with opportunities for networking and unlimited program access.
- Coffee and drinks. If you work two consecutive shifts, we’ll provide you with a meal.
- A volunteer compensation of up to 5.o0 euros per hour. (See the Tax Authorities for more information on compensations.)
