Cinerama Filmtheatre is Rotterdams last authentic cinema. Build in 1957 as SCALA, but rebaptized to CINARAMA in 1960. Cinerama format was a special wy to immerse more into the Cinema experience, with three projectors and a curved screen. Cinerama has now 7 screens and a lively filmculture. Besides regular movies, Cinerama also plays classics, special programs and documentaries.
