Close-Encounter Visual Artist

Encounters and the space in which they take place are essential to their quality. This quality must guide the design of this space.

By creating ‘Encounter’ installations, including (Curved) Pipe Structures, I seek to create a spatial environment and situation that transcends contemporary spatial planning and spatial expectations. In the fields of visual art and theatre design, I have found the freedom that I and fellow human beings require for this research.

Here, it is possible to create value-free spatial situations that explore encounters between people and space in terms of wonder, openness, security, attention, closeness, equality and beauty.
