Organization
Pauluskerk
The Pauluskerk stands up for all people in Rotterdam and the surrounding area who cannot manage without help: the homeless, addicts, people with psychiatric problems, people without valid residence permits, without paid work, young people lacking a sense of direction in their lives, and vulnerable elderly people. The starting point for the Pauluskerk is the well-being and the ‘prospect of a better life’ of these people. And so, every person is unconditionally welcome with us.
Due to the faltering economy, severe cuts to social care, social security, and healthcare, and increasingly strict immigration and asylum policies, it has become increasingly difficult for many of our visitors to hold their own in our society. Without help, it is barely possible for them to turn the tide. It is precisely for them that we want to be there. And through our activities, we want to offer them a new perspective whenever possible.
