Celebrate the power of the written word during the festive Critics Night, where the nominees for the Geert Bekaert Prize for Architecture Criticism 2025 will present their work. Be inspired by sharp observations, provocative analyses and love for the profession.

The Geert Bekaert Prize for architectural criticism was created by Archined to celebrate design criticism and encourage design writing. We at Archined believe that a reflective design practice is of existential importance to the professional community.

At the festive Critics Night, the nominated articles for the Geert Bekaert Prize 2025 will be presented.

The nominated articles are:

Alles van waarde – Sereh Mandias.
Architectuur, je vriend of je vijand – Kaj Zwerver.
‘Moeder, daarom bouwen wij!’ – Dimitri Minten en Tim Vekemans.
Ouwe starchitects – Marjolein van Eig.
Verloren in vertaling; tussen ambacht en ambitie – Margit van Schaik.

After the texts have been recited, the jury will decide who the winner(s) will be.
