Exhibition ‘How do we want to build M4H 2030’

Past, present and future of the build environment

The exhibition ‘How do we want to build M4H 2030’ is a fascinating journey through the past, present and future.

The exhibition ‘How do we want to build M4H 2030’ is a fascinating journey through the past, present and future. The mixed-use port area Merwe-Vierhavens (M4H) in Rotterdam is on the brink of transition to become a lively residential-work district, where circularity is key. How do we create a future-proof living environment that is ready for the challenges of tomorrow?

In the context of M4H, the KeileCollectief takes you on this quest. Together with various partners, they look back at what construction practice looked like 100 years ago and analyze which materials and installations they use today. The exhibit shows inspiring examples of new materials and construction methods and ask what the built environment of M4H could look like in 2030. Is this already Paris Proof? And what if we look even further ahead? How will we live in 2100? What is your vision of the future?

During this inspiring exhibition in the Keilepand, the KeileCollectief challenges you to participate in a program full of workshops, lively debates and serious games and to discuss these questions together.

Open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00 and 17:00. If you would like to register large groups for a tour or visit the exhibition at a different time, this is possible in consultation. Contact us at keilecollectief@gmail.com
