On Wednesday, June 19, Architectuur Instituut Rotterdam and Platform Woonopgave organize a public session about the Action Agenda of Platform Woonopgave.

The Action Agenda is a list of 10 points that will tackle the housing crisis in an affordable, sustainable, fair and future-proof way. In times of crisis it is tempting to simply shout ‘build, build, build’. The results of recent years clearly show; this is not the solution. There are too few new homes and even ‘affordable’ homes are unaffordable for many people. This has to change and Platform Woonopgave thinks it can be done differently!

During this public meeting we will discuss the 10 action points in detail and discuss with the public and experts about tightening and concretizing the action agenda. The moderator of the meeting is Ferrie Weeda.

• The Henket pavilion is located in the southern wing of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, adjacent to the Museum Garden. The entrance can be found on the side of the Museum, located on the Melkkoppad. The entrance can be recognized by a large Rotterdam Architecture Month sign.
