Exhibition: Architecture in a Hyper-Liquid World

The digital revolution going on from the 1990s has lead to ever more networked societies, has changed power balances, wealth and knowledge distribution and is increasingly encroaching the relative independence of the disciplines of architecture and urbanism and us human beings. As our bodies, buildings, and cities are being retrofitted with technology to gain dynamic intelligence and contextual awareness, how might we, as designers, provide visions of new spatial typologies and alternative modes of practice?
These and other questions are provocatively put forward by the exhibition Architecture in a Hyper-Liquid world, which showcases work by students of Critical Intermediate Affairs (CIA) at the Chair of Urbanism & Urban Architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
