“Bouw met Bamboe!” is set to be the first of its kind gathering in the Netherlands, focusing on bamboo in architecture and construction.

This dynamic three-day event is scheduled from June 19th to 21st, 2024, at BlueCity.

Collaboratively brought to life by Summum Engineering, Atelier Nomadic, Walden Studio, and Maria Piels Architects, this initiative dives into bamboo’s versatile use as a building material. The event features a series of expert-led symposiums, hands-on workshops, and a comprehensive exhibition. With the support of the Creative Industries Fund,  architects, designers, engineers and students are invited to join in on discovering and pushing the boundaries of bamboo in Dutch architecture.
