Breakfast chat with Adriaan Geuze

Enjoy breakfast and a conversation with landscape architect Adriaan Geuze (West 8) in the Museumpark: the festival heart of the Rotterdam Architecture Month.

In Rotterdam, Geuze is best known as the designer of the Schouwburgplein, Rotterdam Central Station and the redesigned Coolsingel. During breakfast, Geuze will talk to journalist and writer Dore van Duivenbode about making spatial plans with a view to architecture, public space and infrastructure.

  • Buy a ticket via the link below.
  • Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance to the Henket Pavilion.
  • The Henket Pavilion is located in the southern wing of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, adjacent to the Museum Garden. The entrance can be found on the side of the Museum, located on the Melkkoppad. The entrance can be recognized by a large Rotterdam Architecture Month canopy.

Adriaan Geuze

Adriaan Geuze (1960) studied landscape architecture in Wageningen. He is the founder and co-director of West 8 urban design & landscape architecture, an international agency with major landscape and urban development projects at home and abroad, including Governors Island in New York, Madrid Rio and Jubilee Gardens in London.

Adriaan Geuze has received various prizes and awards for his work. In 2011 he received the oeuvre prize for architecture from the Mondriaan Fund.

Dore van Duivenbode

Dore van Duivenbode (1985) is a writer and journalist. She wrote for NRC Handelsblad, Vrij Nederland and Volkskrant Magazine, among others, and worked as a presenter for television programs and online documentaries, including ‘Moja Polska!’ and ‘Dus Wat Gaan Wij Doen?’. In 2018 she made her debut with the book ‘My Polish House’ (Uitgeverij De Geus) and recently published ‘Oerbos’, in which Van Duivenbode researches our dealings with the last primeval forests of Central Europe.
