AIR and the Community of Practice Rechtvaardige Stad assembly professionals, policymakers, and designers for a shared programme on the importance of the social dimension within spatial and physical challenges. Central to the programme is the question of how spatial justice can be concretely embedded in physical projects and urban development processes, and what is needed to achieve this.

During this programme, presented in Dutch, participants will learn how different professionals approach these issues in their own practices and will actively work with the new Justice in the City Workbook (“Werkboek Rechtvaardige Stad”). This practical guide, intended for anyone aiming to embed justice within spatial processes, will be officially launched during the event. The full programme will be announced soon.

This programme is a continuation of the Building the Social working session held during the Stadmakerscongres 2025, where members of the CoP introduced the Just Design Toolbox.
