How do you create a climate adaptive square?
Celebrate Rotterdam Architecture Month with Archiklas and experience Children’s Climate Ateliers, every Friday in June at the Amelandseplein in Carnisse, Rotterdam.
Archiklas’s workshops help you learn important design skills around themes such as climate adaptation, water management, reuse and biodiversity.
On Friday, June 14, children will explore under supervision how a neighbourhood square can be adapted to the climate. They learn how they can help design sustainable and green squares.
As part of the workshop, there are fun activities in which the children make plans for a square that deals well with climate challenges, such as flooding and promoting more greenery and nature.
The workshops take place from 16:00 to 18:00 and you can walk in you (no need to register up front).
