During the Day and Night of Architecture you can meet the architect, at their home, in their studio or at the building site itself. Start your day at Enzo Valerio’s Studio Playtime, for a personal tour through his studio and home. Or visit The Cabanon, a house of just 7m2, where architect Beatriz Ramo personally welcomes you. At a different scale, Mecanoo architects present their plans for the former Unilever Factory, where a whole new neighbourhood will be built. Also The Coolse Poort will also open its doors, with tours by GROOSMAN who transformed this post-war giant.

Rotterdam Classics

The iconic Delftse Poort can be seen from far and wide. Enjoy the stunning view of the city from high up, and take a look at the impressive large-scale models of the designs created for this high-rise 40 years ago. Or treat yourself to a special evening tour of the Van Nelle Factory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. Light, air and space are the cornerstones of the 1931 design. In the evening, this revolutionary factory complex takes on a whole new look. An architectural guide will take you on a tour of the highlights of the factory’s history, including the circular tearoom on the roof.
