Experience urban nature and come bird watching before opening hours in ‘Garden of the City’ Rotterdam Zoo (Diergaarde Blijdorp).

With its special monumental architecture and 34 hectares of greenery in the middle of the city, Rotterdam Zoo should not be missing from the program of Rotterdam Architecture Month. As the largest ‘Garden of the City’, Blijdorp offers a special programme in which it allows participants to experience its ecological value and to offer an exclusive view.

Early Bird Spotters Tour at Rotterdam Zoo

Experience the city’s nature up close and go on a birding tour through a quiet Diergaarde Blijdorp. It’s 3,000 trees and carefully maintained botanical garden is a green oasis for lots of birds.  Together with an experienced bird watcher, you will go in search of the favorite places of various special bird species in 1.5 hours. Experience the Zoo like never before. Can you spot the Kingfisher, the Goldfinch and the Quack?
