Workshop
Green Entanglements: Composting Workshop
To acknowledge our entanglements, to sit amongst and active in the roots
Through this joint programme, the Botanische tuin Afrikaanderwijk and Gemaal op Zuid will host a weekend of events focused on the urgency for biodiversity considerations within our local urban environments.
On Sunday morning, Tom Lorier provides a hands-on composting workshop to equip us with practical tools to manage our organic wastes and enrich our soils. Photographic and poetry works are shown by Merlijn Wirtz shall be accompanied by ceramic pieces of Kate Price, weaving poetic narratives through the grounds of both locations. These events are family friendly with children’s activity corners being present at both Gemaal op Zuid and the Botanische tuin to help inspire their, and our, green imaginations.
Check the Dutch page of this event for more information.
