About the route

The route takes you through the park via orange/yellow landmarks, past special interventions and exhibitions by a new generation of designers.

The interventions tell stories about the past, present and future of the park and let you experience the area in a new way. The walking route connects cultural institutions, special places and inspiring stories and takes you past architecture, nature and visual arts.

Along the route you’ll find:

• Exhibition at the Henket pavilion
• the ‘Time Tower‘ in the garden of Huis Sonneveld
• the Bridge by DaF-architects
• ‘Pergola‘ in the Rose Garden
• Exhibition ‘Garden of the City’ at the traverse

The concept of the route and the interventions was developed by OMI Rotterdam and AIR – Architecture Institute Rotterdam.
