Once a year, Rotterdam shows off its most beautiful side. Alternately, visitors are invited to explore hidden gardens on the left or right bank of the Maas. This year, about 50 owners on the right bank of the Maas are opening their gardens to the public. Take this unique opportunity to see a surprisingly green side of Rotterdam during the 21st edition of Hidden Gardens.

Go and explore the unknown world of hidden paradises within the city. The green oases do not only stimulate the senses but also provide a better ecological balance in the urban environment. During this event you can experience that Rotterdam can actually be a soothing, and attractive place for residents and visitors.

On the website you can see all the specific gardens you can visit. On foot, by bicycle, public transport or car you can experience a Rotterdam that is much greener than you may think. Make unexpected discoveries and see with your own eyes that Rotterdam has much more to offer than just modern architecture and an international port.

Practical info

• The entrance fee for the whole weekend is just € 7.00 (kids until 12 years old go for free).
• With 1 ticket per person you can visit all the open gardens during both days of the weekend.
• Online ticket sales starts May 10th.
