Living in the Lloyd Quarter
Day and Night of Architecture
Over the past 15 years, the Lloyd Quarter has been transformed from an industrial port area into a popular residential neighborhood. Today, it is defined by a diverse mix of architecture—from historic warehouses to distinctive new builds. Come and discover this unique area during the Day and Night of Architecture!
Explore converted buildings such as De Herder and Jobsveem, and get a glimpse inside the brand-new Lloyd Yard Docks, a collective housing project where residents co-designed their homes with architects. Throughout the afternoon, musicians from Grounds will bring the inner gardens and balconies of Lloyd Yard to life with live performances.
