MVRDV was founded in 1993 by Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries. With 300 architects, designers and other employees, based in Rotterdam, Shanghai, Paris, New York and Berlin, MVRDV works worldwide on solutions to contemporary architectural and urban planning issues. In doing so, the firm uses innovative and sustainable technologies. The results are distinct, innovative projects that help move our cities and landscapes toward a better future.

During Open Office Day, the MVRDV office opens its doors to the public. Visitors can freely explore the workspace of MVRDV, with models, videos and books on display, and engage in conversation with the architects.
