R’dam Day: Lecture Jacques Vink
Four Sundays in June, the festival heart of the Rotterdam Architecture Month is dedicated to the Rotterdam Days. On these afternoons there are all kinds of activities in the Museumpark for young and old. Listen to the lecture by Jacques Vink (Making Urban Nature) at the Henket-paviljoen on Sunday, June 16.
Urban Nature Building, about nature-inclusive architecture
Jacques Vink is an architect. In 1998 he started the architectural firm Ruimtelab. The agency combines design and research. The central themes are biobased materials, biodesign, circular construction and smart ecology. Together with Piet Vollaard and Niels de Zwarte, he is co-author of Stadsnatuur Maken / Making Urban Nature. Creating urban nature is an inspiration and example book for nature-inclusive designs in the Northwest European city.

How to get there
The Henket pavilion is located in the southern wing of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, adjacent to the Museum Garden. The entrance can be found on the side of the Museum, located on the Melkkoppad. The entrance can be recognized by a large Rotterdam Architecture Month sign.
