Have you removed paving tiles from your (front) garden to make room for more greenery? Let the Tile Taxi, an initiative of Rotterdam WeatherWise (Rotterdams WeerWoord), collect them free of charge.

From March through October, the Tile Taxi travels across Rotterdam, picking up old paving slabs, bricks and surplus sand for circular reuse. It’s an easy way to make your garden or street greener while helping to create a cooler, more climate-resilient city. Any tiles collected by the Tile Taxi are automatically counted towards the Dutch National Tile-Wipping Championship (NK Tegelwippen).

The Tile Taxi will visit the following areas in June:

• 15 June | Rotterdam North & West
• 22 June | Rohttp://www.tegel.taxitterdam South & East
• 29 June | Rotterdam South & West
