CitrusClub Festival

During the CitrusClub Festival on Saturday, June 27, you can discover the national monument, the Citrusveiling. For one afternoon, the building transforms into a shared ground for architecture, movement, conversation, music, installations and collective stress relief. Organised by Nudus together with Nieuwe Instituut, Volume Magazine, and de Mannen van Schuim, the festival activates the usually closed monument through exhibitions, guided tours, talks, workshops, yoga, drinks, and live interventions throughout the building.

At the centre of the festival is Stress Relief: the colourful boxing ring installation by HyperSity and VOLUME, originally created for the Architecture Biennale of Shenzhen. Inside the ring, RBV Crooswijk hosts a series of free boxing clinics, while VOLUME celebrates the launch of VOLUME 69: Stress Companion with talks and short interventions throughout the afternoon.
Visitors can walk through the former auction halls, explore a series of small exhibitions, join conversations, participate in workshops, a yoga or boxing sessions, or simply experience the atmosphere of the building. Stories about transformation and reuse run throughout the festival: of spaces, materials, and ways of collaborating.

The festival is free and open to anyone who is curious. The full programme can be found on the website. Registration in advance via the Eventbrite links on the website is required for participation in the architecture lecture, boxing clinics, and yoga session.
