You can walk the route in approximately 45 – 90 minutes, including a visit to the exhibitions in the Henket pavilion and the traverse. If you also want to visit the art tour ‘Craving for Boijmans’, allow an extra 45 minutes.
The route can also be followed outside regular opening hours. Not all architectural interventions can be visited then. You can walk the partial route in about 30 minutes.
About the route
During RA Month, the various institutions, places and stories in the Museumpark are connected via a route that runs through the area. The route leads visitors via an outdoor exhibition to specific places in the park, marked by interventions by various designers. You will find the interventions in the garden of the museum house Huis Sonneveld, the Museum Garden and in the Rose Garden. In addition, there are exhibitions on display in the Museumpark traverse and in the Henket pavilion.
You can recognize the route by seven orange/yellow beacons that will guide you through. By scanning the QR codes you’ll have access to audio-commentary about your current location.
Tip: During the Rotterdam Days, all kinds of extra activities have been programmed along the route.
