Come and take a look at Caroline Bijvoet’s new exhibition. It is on view till 29 June. Her latest series with 4 large paintings is called ‘ISRAF – Wallowing in the Waste’and can be seen until June 29 in CULT=US. The question is asked at this exhibition: How do place and time determine the value of our assets?

The images for ‘Waste ’ were collected at the HER /Rotterdam Circular. She painted abstractions of this waste in the intermediate zone, already torn from everyday life, fraternally selected and grouped, pending reuse or their role as fuel to keep our sample-sized mating furnaces running.

Opening Sunday 31 May

Feel welcome for the opening on Sunday 31 May. During the opening you can enjoy some circular snacks by chef Gilbert Kolff. These are a teaser for the special 3-course menu that will be part of the finissage on Monday evening June 29.
