Transformation of the quay in pictures

The Schiehavenkade underwent a complete transformation for the Rotterdam Architecture Month. From a hidden, neglected and largely closed off part of the city to a lively and public quay. After weeks of cleaning up and organizing, we built with what was already there – elements such as the Kadepodium and the Spreeuwenpaviljoen were made entirely from recycled materials. The quay was transformed into a testing ground for sustainable and affordable construction with an eye for biodiversity. But how did we start? And where did it end? A throwback in pictures.
